HGM Medical Lasers Trade Show

Challenge: Manage logistics for a three-day international dermatology trade show. My primary responsibility was to serve as liaison for staff and vendors to prepare for the show, given a two-weeks lead time. The estimated budget was $20,000.
Result: Booth: Track down booth lost in customs after last trade show, shipping, customs, graphic coordination – banners and dura-trans, prep and track laser equipment, drayage, and labor. Sales Training: Prep instructor, prepare training materials – instructor and recipient, prepare and edit training manual. Medical Training Course: Arrange location, prep instructor, prepare and compile course materials for recipients, and coordinate attendees and invitations. Travel: Make travel arrangements for the company representative attending the show – airline, hotel, and transportation. Marketing: Determine and fulfill marketing requirements, coordinate giveaway prizes, and track daily sales contests

Challenge: Create awareness about public relations activities to increase the bottom line.
Result: More than 50 people were exposed to key messages per session.
Challenge: To coordinate all logistics for company participation at the largest ophthalmic show in America. Budget: $200,000.
Responsibility: Interim Convention Coordinator. Duties included: Serving as the main liaison for staff and vendors to prepare for the show.

Travel: airline, hotel, and transportation needs for 30 individuals. Marketing: create product line multi-media presentation, coordinate give-away, track daily sales.
